This is a new study edition and Arabic translation of the New Testament Epistles with explanatory articles, introductions and footnotes. It was published in 2016 by the UK charity Al Kalima, and has been printed and distributed by Kitabuna (Lebanon) and publishing houses in Iraq, Egypt and Tunisia. Approximately 35,000 copies are in print.
The work is prefaced with an introduction by Mr. Abdul Latif Obeid, Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League, former Minister of Education in Tunisia, and former president of the Arab Translators Union.
In addition to others on the translation committee, the following scholars worked on this project: Dr. Ekram Lamie, Ms. Awatef Zouidi, Dr. Ali Makhlabi, and Dr. Noureddin Al-Arabi.
